TIMING AND PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATIONS FOR ARTICLING STUDENTS AND SUMMER STUDENTS

Solmon Rothbart Goodman LLP follows the Law Society of Upper Canada guidelines with respect to the recruitment of, interviewing of and hiring of both articling students and summer students.

For summer students, the Law Society of Upper Canada usually publishes those guidelines in the Ontario Reports and, historically, those interviews have taken place in November with applications being received in mid-October.

For articling students, the Law Society of Upper Canada places its guidelines in the Ontario Reports. Historically, interviews have taken place in the second full week in August and applications have been due in.

All resumes must include the student's transcript from law school. Transcripts from any undergraduate studies and references are recommended. Writing samples are optional. Resumes submitted by e-mail will not be accepted. Resumes should be addressed to Nancy J. Tourgis.
